Nevermind all other emotions are cancelled, there's some Opiliones outside the front door and this has not only reminded me how long it's been since I saw them, EEE OPILIONES OUTSIDE MY DOOR! This is almost as good as nocturnal cicadas. Nothing is as good as cicadas, but "derpy little guys that look like if half a pencil eraser stole some comically oversized legs for slapstick purposes" are excellent.

there are really big ones here that only come out at night, bouncing along on their cartoon legs. I of course love them
By description alone I love them too! I am mentally adding wobbly "boing" sound effects next time I watch some walk around. What excellent little beafts.
