Coloring one specific 'sona of mine is very weird because it's the only case I can think of where my brain is bothered by the color balance before I'm done. 99.9% of the time, unless something is ACTUALLY fucked up (and possibly even then) I have internalized "it's not done yet, don't bother worrying about the colors right now because it will look different when they're all there." This is extremely true and thus sensible.
But this one design, for reasons unknown to me, makes my brain itch and wriggle and cry out "oh my gazpacho that grey is off. Why is the white so fucked up. That is the ugliest blue I've ever seen. FIX PLS." This is extremely weird because I've drawn this character repeatedly using these exact colors and can thus confirm that no, this looks GREAT when it's done. One of my faves, even! But the itch persists before I've gotten everything laid down....
See? Perfectly nice colors, or at least colors that do not make me want to gnaw my arm off!
