My days of "well this stranger turned on tank stance first so they can have the boss, I'll wait until Buzzsaw Mode is over and then quietly turn on tank stance just to be sure I'm second on the list" → surprise! promoted to main tank! sure are coming to a middle.
This isn't a dig at other tanks– quite the opposite! It's just funny how often I decide "ehh, insurance" and then 7 minutes into a duty la creatura goes from sleepily munching a taki, zoned out, to *FFXIV aggro ping noise* wide-eyed checking the boss target, "I'M AWAKE I'M AWAKE"
