Ansakoena (Scythe Queen) may be too green for her own good1 but hopefully the sheer enormousness will help me keep track of her. (Stegos BIG!!)
Saddle privileges obtained! Holy shit Ansa is ginormous, I can 100% hide from view behind those plates.
12th day on the save file: I reached the desert door! Now I just have to make the door usable, which is "easy" to "just keep plugging away and it'll be done before long" except I... miscalculated slightly... and need 100 Forest Wood. I had been hoarding my regular Wood and not worrying too much about picking up special Forest sticks every day. Forest Wood is very quick to acquire just as long as you have a log-stomper, which you definitely do by this point in the game because you're not a foolcake doing a challenge run. HECK.
Fortunately I think this is funny because now I'm watching two Hot Wheels racing down a plastic track wondering which will win the race:
- Pick up 70 more special Forest sticks day by day, stick by stick.
- Get a (jailbroken) log-stomper dino dumped straight into my lap during the Triassea Picnic.
(I was tempted to note a third Hot Wheels on the track labeled "override my no-ankylo policy via RNG yeeting a pride flag ankylo at me" but on reflection, if that happened I'd tame it but not use it, because I'm so invested in this silly challenge now.)
