I am very happy for the FFXIV cloud datacenters and hope the testing goes well, but the ARTPG event's post-event festivities kicked off and you cannot crowbar me away from my muppet hyperfixation right now. They have made me worse than I was before, and I already wouldn't shut up about them.
I'm leaving all the good character building for later but I am rotating the nascent draft of this fish in my head so hard.
- Transing of the gender (including custom edits to the official ref if I can) because you know what, I DESERVE another oc who is trans extremely on OOCly purpose. It's been a minute since I collected another, I could use more.
- Snugglebuns with my flower princess for basically no mechanical gain. I just think it would be neat if my flower princess hyperfixation and my fish hyperfixation got more time together.
- Has none of flower princess' bravery; probably outright hides behind her if things get too scary.
- Not sure yet whether this is "outright coward" or "all bark no bite", I just think it's funny if the only subspecies known to be bigger and meaner than flower girl's type produces a specimen that decides "my mountain of a girlfriend can handle problems".
- Likes rocks because when the game gives me mechanical perks I enjoy working them into the character's lore. And I'm gonna be turning this fish into a caver.
- I think this is stupid but I kind of walked myself into a corner here: there's four perk types, I already assigned the other three to my faves, which leaves one last fave and one last perk. Oh well, cave fish jokes! I could focus more on the geology if I wanted, anyways.
Anyways these are the thoughts I think so I'll stop agonizing indecisively over my genetics options. The battle between "woah the ballgown-fins ones are so pretty" and "but I haVE TO DRAW THAT A MILLION TIMES" is raging with no end in sight.
