I'm not objecting, but I do vaguely wonder who came up with the idea to make ube pastry rolls (a winner all on its own!) and then fill them with... Kraft singles? Who looked at these and decided "we need to keep going" and reached past all the other fillings to grab the fake cheese? (A bakery several states over from us, according to the packaging, but.)

Oh, cheese is very commonly paired with ube in the Philippines! You'll see cheese on ube-flavored pandesal, puto, etc. ...using Kraft singles does add a particularly strong level of sadness though.
Yeah, see, if it was any other cheese, any other cheese at all I'd react with "yes, good, this makes perfect sense." It's only the fact that they use non-cheese that drives me to ask,
