My best memory of proving I was drift-compatible with a pug tank was the time I was trying to get Leveling Roulette knocked out on my EU alt. Landed in a Copperbell Mines run with a DE tank who spoke not a word of English (much as I, the EN healer, spoke not a word of German) and proceeded to have a rather cranky time as the DPS were incapable of behaving themselves. The tank was neither slacking nor lost, but Bingo and Bongo kept "taking the initiative" to rush ahead and plow into more mobs. (We didn't even have AoE besides the tank iirc, so this was a particularly "awesome, you've made the run take longer" maneuver.)
We were nearly to the end when the Bingbings sprinted ahead to facepull several packs all by themselves.
And without exchanging a word the tank and I came to a dead stop out of range. We stood there in peaceful silence, hand in spiritual hand, as we watched them die.
I don't think the DPS learned anything from the experience but personally I've never loved an internet stranger more intensely than I loved that tank right then.
