The cool part about ARTPGs is they're generally built around the idea of visual art (drawing, painting, illustrations, etc) but thanks to the ubiquity of word counters it's super easy to shoehorn in rules for writing. So almost all games do! Yay!
The funny part about ARTPGs is there's a huge ESL population and plenty of talented visual artists suck at the written word, so writing wordcounts tend to be balanced around sixth-grade essay amounts. This is good and merciful to many players and I approve on that front.
However.
If you think this means games are whole-ass unprepared for the paragraph (or god forbid, forum post) roleplayer, you would be correct.
I got a game to add wordcount MAXIMUMS to events once after a particularly juicy short story. 🫶
