Playing Monster Hunter: World for the first time in forever was very fun because I DID cleanly duo a Diablos with my pal, despite not remembering what my buttons were before we started. (Turns out Panicked IGlave Air-Evasion Flailing is hardwired in me.)
It was also very fun because I lost 16 times to a Mosswine when my computer, MHW and my X-Box controller had a very stubborn disagreement about if and when the A/B/Y buttons work. This malfunction doesn't happen often but it's very sticky when it does– something to do with alt-tabbing out is my best guess. Anyways, trying to figure out why controller won't let me do attacks mid-combat with special one-shot event mobs is fun! I'm glad repair bills aren't a thing.
