If you've been eyeballing Paleo Pines this is a fabulous time to pick it up or hop back in! There was another color expansion on Leap Day which added lots more colors of dinos to befriend. But there's also a mini not-quite-event running: from now until April 7, 2024 there's Chocolate Egg items hidden around the map. These eggs can be used to instantly befriend any dino! Which is even better than it sounds....
See, normally the game starts on the slow side, requiring time and questing to open various things up. So it's unlikely but possible to meet a rare dino early on that you absolutely adore... and can't befriend yet, because you didn't do enough tutorials yet. Chocolate Egg to the rescue! You only get a few of them, but by their power you can Break Glass In Case of Emergency and bring that perfect pal home. (And if you're further into the game, they're just plain convenient.)
So if you've been meaning to indulge in the most dinotastic farmsim around there's no time like now! Start another save or pick it up for Steam/PC, PS4/5, Xbox or Switch.
