Very excited that one of the pals finally cracked a mystery in Bad Game I Don't Respect: "if they put in this new challenge that scales from "tough" to "CBT alternative", why are 3/4 of the CHALLENGE COMPLETE announcements we're seeing for the maximum nightmare Battletoads superkiller difficulty?"
Answer: they made the rewards scale too (oh no) so everyone immediately thought really hard about how to cheese the shit out of it to maximize rewards into their pocketses. Vanishingly few players have actually been doing the challenge in the spirit it was intended; they have instead executed tedious near-exploits to get literally one hundred times the rewards (ooooh noohoohoooooo) faster and more easily than playing the game normally.
