Cynical take is cynical and I should treat it as such and move on. But I can’t entirely… people get to make all the messy trope filled art of any medium they want and promote it however they want. And if I saw something I liked and wanted to promote, I might not be doing that for ‘networking’, also, what’s so wrong with networking? Not all people in to networking are shitheads like the disrupters. A lot of people need those contacts to get an ounce of recognition.
