please bear with me while i figure out how to use this new platform !
hiii, i am roxi. i'm an animator, children's book illustrator, and teacher. one day i woke up and realised how limiting my work can be in terms of creativity and play. i wanted to go back to simply enjoying the process of artmaking with no pressure. that was about 9 months ago, and since then i have made lots of colourful little animals and learned a lot of cool new stuff. i mostly work with polymer clay, but i am currently making some dolls that include knitting, sewing, and weaving as well. all the hands on crafting has been so much fun and so liberating after 10 years of primarily digital illustration career. it is a super neat hobby for me and it's allowed me to start building my lifelong dream of owning my own little shop of handicrafts.
this bubblegum colour fella here is moo ! moo is part of a little set of stimming figurines, together with croco and sheepy. moo has gentle, lumpy texture and a very sturdy finish. i designed these creatures for the purpose of being handled and fidgeted with, so they have interesting but not overwhelming surfaces, perfect for finger petting when you need some light stimulation to help you focus. i have a little website to display all of my creatures, and a ko-fi where i list everything i made for adoption. i put links to those on my page if anyone wants to see more creatures.
