80% of the arguments you see on the internet that bother you are arguments that used to happen at a dinner table among people who had known each other for years and instead of everyone being pissed off forever at each other at the end when neither side "won" they'd just leave it unresolved and continue living
Like, in person, the fact that cousin Jason has poor media literacy and didn't pick up on the subtext in your favorite RPG is just something annoying about Jason and not an excuse to start telling everyone you know that you're tired of how many people don't think critically about games (well, it was for some people but another side effect of in person social dynamics is that people who do that often tend to push away folks not interested in blowing every little disagreement up).
Every time I feel myself getting annoyed at a bad take I imagine a family BBQ and two uncles arguing about it over a hot grill and if I don't care about it in that context than I find it much easier to stop caring about it online.
