the big brick of yellow might not be salvageable. i left it by the heater for half an hour then kneaded for an hour, with pasta maker assistance when it finally kind of stopped crumbling. but it was a pain and still not super usable. my hands are so pins and needley right now ^^' the workout is really not recommended for my joints condition. i use fimo soft but it's still fi-much pain even brand new.
i ended up mixing in a bit of super gooey, far too soft reddish clay. i wanted to make another lion plant pot, but fate (and unfortunate clay storage) said we are making a flaming hot cheeto instead. with all that red cheesy powder detailing, yum.
the plant pot is in the oven but i thought this was the perfect opportunity to share these tiny cheetos i made very early on in my sculpting journey. you can see more photos of them on neocities webbed site π
i would like to make a few more of these glass and clay plant pots over the next couple months. i would love to hear (read) what kind of creatures and colours people think might be neat!
