why does that sigma 60-600mm sports lens have to be like $1800. there should just be somewhere i can go and say "i would like to have one of these so i can take better pictures of the birds at the park" and they give me one
im imagining there’s someone who frequents the park who’s been making increasingly confused posts on instagram about how i keep showing up with more and more camera gear (it’s just because the park is an easy source of fast-moving subjects lol) and at some point in like 10 years im gonna roll up with one of those enormous 100x TV zoom lenses and a broadcast truck and this guy’s going to ascend directly to heaven
