look i get that like the kodak synchro rapid and graflex 1000 and all those kodak variable flash sync guys are complicated for a reason. that’s fine. they do stuff the rest can’t. but if you can’t do that stuff you should be like the kodak supermatic-x or the bigass compur on my 4x5 telephoto where there’s nothing going on in there because it doesn’t fuckin do anything. do NOT be like this prontor-svs that’s been kicking my ass up and down the block since yesterday okay you’re a shutter that tops out at 1/300 and doesn’t even have T much less press focus you don’t need a self timer and selectable M-sync and aperture detents and eight aperture blades and a god damn coupled EV scale. to be clear all of those features have directly caused me problems with operation or reassembly
