this is the second time my doctor's office has sent my prescription to a pharmacy that i specifically told them not to send it to because they cannot fill that prescription. i have not had my medication for over a month.

I reckon there is a subconscious thing going on, even among genuinely helpful neurotypical people: they don't really sweat the details because they know you'll sort it out (because you have to.)
