question for sergi, if it's not too much trouble! what's your proudest "patch job"? like a jury-rigging - something nobody'd think would work, but worked regardless? bonus points if it was way outta spec
The ship does have a few unused comms channels - spares, I guess - so all I need to do is patch myself in, make my traffic look official to the mainland repeater stations, and tell them to pass me onto the civilian telecom network! But that's all automated, so accessing those spare channels in the first place is the hard part - I can't do it directly since I'm not on the comms team, but if I transmit with something that talks to the ship's control, like, say, a spare aircraft transceiver, I can inject my own signal.
