mi sona e toki sina. ken la sina sitelen e 'mi wile e ni: olin e meli mute.'
i forgor, do u have to write people's names in toki pona too? like ruby becomes wupi or lupi or smth along those lines
anyways, meli li suwi.....
people's names are treated as adjectives to be added onto another word (most commonly, jan) -- you can tokiponize them if you'd like, you don't have to. it's up to the specific individual, so for me for instance the ponization of my name isn't my favorite (wu isn't a valid syllable so it'd either be "wupi" or "wapi" or "lupi" and i'm not a huge fan of any of those) so instead i chose a name based on existing words (jan Lojekiwen, which is an improper way of smashing the words "loje" (red) and "kiwen" (rock) together to approximate "ruby")
(although i'm looking at the syllable chart rn and the name jan Lumi goes hard? maybe... i do like being called "jan Loje" for short tho)
also also you can totally use other words instead of jan, which is a thing some ppl do (soweli Kulawa...)
