watched across the spider-verse and i dunno. my biggest gripe with into was that a few of the music choices felt a little off, but otherwise i thought it was an outstanding movie. across just felt, fine? it's fine. i don't think it's earthshatteringly good, but it wasn't bad. i guess i'm just tired of superhero movies. 3/5
also, what the fuck is up with all the multiverse movies lately? across gets a pass because it's a sequel to a movie that kinda came out before it was really a thing but like, marvel's has a whole kick with them recently, and there's been other things like everything everywhere (which i love, despite my complicated feelings about). i brought this up to a friend and she dismissed it with "it's the new time travel", but at least time travel has interesting logical consequences and paradoxes intertwined in there. multiverse theory doesn't really have that which makes me sad
