i think they both see airblast as something that every pyro knows how to use effectively which is the issue. only getting 4 airblasts with the backburner? sure, that's honestly a fair tradeoff. makes pyro more vulnerable to demo and soldier in exchange for the ability to flank. losing airport completely? yeah getting guaranteed crits to make up for that is really nice (if annoying. i think it'd be neat if it only gave you resistance rather than full uber while taunting, would make it more suited to ambushes). but the problem is that a lot of people don't airblast effectively so they aren't even really trading that much, which makes both weapons powerful
