a happy conclusion to the thrilling saga of Trying to Share Furuhata Ninzaburo
we had a longstanding problem with the furuhata ninzaburo internet archive upload! i didn't notice until last night!! apparently the IA systems and/or the web player don't like .ass type subtitles and only like .srt so the .ass subtitles kinda just fell away when we uploaded them back in the day. this meant that the first 2 seasons of the show weren't subtitled, but now that should all be fixed, even on the web player. check it out!
should also note that this never affected anyone who just grabbed the torrent, that has always had the proper subtitles. i would recommend grabbing the torrent anyway because the embedded IA webplayer is a sucky viewing experience but at least now you can grip and rip every episode any which way ya like
