sad that tumblr keeps stepping on an easily avoidable series of rakes. i really liked having one fucking social media platform that i mostly liked using and wasnβt responsible for operating. having your day job also be the Last Website Standing doesnβt feel great

I'm just happy to pay for my yearly subscription and get a social media platform that, and I can't say it enough, feels as though it respects me in so many ways. I only wish this wasn't, well, the only place like this.

But keep doing what you are doing, I love this website, I made this comic as both a comic I wanted to make and as a love-letter to cohost, I even have it as "O-host" throughout the comic! Also I love that I don't have views metrics, what matters is the metric of people giving me likes and shares. I post a new strip and then I get that handful of likes from the same few people and I know I did well. I also post to Bluesky and Ko-fi but I generally hate Bluesky and the fact that it's the same as Twitter and I can't post certain things to Ko-fi because "oh gosh is that a drawing of a dildo, my word how horrible". So yeah, this is home, I like it here, and I can upload in the final full resolution of my comic in PNG which is nice, since Bluesky does not have PNG image support let alone a resolution higher than potato.
