Aesthetically I lean mostly Western/European/Medieval styles of dragons with regard to body type. Scales, minimal fur, at least the size of a small house. Sharp teeth, more majestic in nature.
As far as personality/demeanor, that is more Eastern type. Like being a guardian of some aspect of reality or a force of nature that is like any other animal in the wild, rather than hoarding gold or trinkets or kobolds like a lot of media. Warcraft kind of scratched the itch of both sides in a lot of ways for a while.
