good god new fire emblem looks like dogshit. i'm so disappointed - awakening was a fanservice game and it was already bad, this is just like awakening going "this wasn't even my final form." going from byleth to stupid toothpaste girl and from edelgard to cutesy anime babes uwu feels like a complete slap in the face
and the nostalgia cashgrab, my god. what's even the point of having lyn in the game if she's a glorified cameo? she's not a character with real dialogue or a story role, she's just a mega evolution? she's not even an actual unit, she's just a stand?
is this because of the gacha game? was the gacha game so successful that they decided to make a game that was just the gacha game, but a mainline entry? three houses was hugely popular, sold well, and was acclaimed by old fans and new fans alike, why would you go from that to this?
