the problem with supporter pawns in dog's drag 2 is i've instantly become attached to lou, my excitable cat man pawn who, in true cat fashion, shares things with me he picked up off the ground, excitedly rushes me over to the main quest NPC i'm pointedly avoiding, and goes "i could do this all day! :D" when he slides down a hillside

i got so attached i stopped jokingly calling him "leo" instead of his actual name... he's my favorite part of the game

but he's a built in capcom NPC pawn so he'll never level past 3 and i might never see him again

my wife made herself as a pawn in dragon's dogma 2 and we rescued a guy from harpies, and right after the fight her character gave mine a victory hand slap
