Occasionally I have words.

Headspace of someone with too much time and not enough sense. See the sideblog for my FF14 quarantined ramblings. Find me on bluesky (wordybird) and Twitch (wordiestbird) for the time being. Good luck with everything.

I’d say I’ve been doing some thinking about this lately, but that’d be a lie. Truth is, I’ve been doing a LOT of thinking, over more or less the past five years since I came out as genderfluid. Truth be told I was considering whether or not that was the right label or not pretty much since I first thought of it, and while it’s been a good starting point, I think it’s about time to re-evaluate. It’s been a period of change in my life, to say the least. Got a new job, finished up a long-term project (mostly, but that part’s out of my hands), ready to face the new year and the opportunities it brings me. And while I’ve been humming and hawing over this for… let’s say a while, the universe has been doing nothing but hinting without a trace of subtlety that I should take that next step.

So… Hi. My name is Wren, also known as Wordy and occasionally Phoenix, and my pronouns are she/they. I’m a girl.

Now to figure out what the hell I’m going to do to start actualising that instead of just mulling over my options. I have something approaching a to-do list, but I need to actually order it all and start working on it. Either way, first step's done now. Just need to take the rest of the thousand mile journey.
