whenever I see a museum or a tour or informational material on judaism it's talking about our struggles and how we've been persecuted. this is important to talk about but I can only hear about the same information so many times, I can only be culturally retraumatized so many times.

I want to see how jews maintained their spirits in the past and how they celebrated and I want to see how we're still happy today and now.

I think that's one of the things I miss most from Twitter was finding a really cool community of Jewish people who taught me a lot. (For context, I'm culturally Christian, so there was...a lot to learn and assumptions to unlearn.) But part of what miss most was seeing the joy and community.
