so I could have a single place where my music is stored and then sync to my phone + computer. idk any other app that fills this niche of syncing/streaming media from a personal storage server to as many OS's as plex and has a working UI
edit: apparently there's a thing called plexamp, something 2 look into!

i know at least one choster who uses plex specifically because of this but i haven't played with it myself.
a: subsonic servers like navidrome are likely better for music specifically. if thats all you want to do with it, i personally use and can recommended it. dsub is pretty good on mobile if you want a native client, but the webapp is pretty alright.
b: i havent personally used it, but if you havent already ruled it out, jellyfin does the same things as plex but is floss and is not currently destroying all hope of a future, lmao. in any case ive seen apps like finamp, fintunes, gelli, and boum that are for streaming music from your jellyfin server. they all seem pretty nice.
