try the vscode extension emmet!!!!!!! PLEASE FOR YOUR OWN SANITY.
emmet is a shorthand for html that's lets you do shorthands like p.class1.class2.class3 <TAB> makes <p class="class1 class2 class3"></p>
there's actually like a lot more it does than just that but I really don't think most people need anything much more than just good ol' p.class1 for fanfic
