honestly probably nix but you can format nix to look lispy and that helps me tbh
Never used Nix but I quite like Lisp and its syntax. Not sure if I like the syntax because I enjoy the practical benefits or because I don't have to manually deal with it anymore (Emacs's paredit is amazing).
oo... yeah see uh ... unfortunately we're gonna have to launch you into the sun for that..... yeah sorry just regulation, gotta launch you into the sun now
Have you used a good Lisp (i.e., not Emacs Lisp) in any capacity or do you just not like the look of the syntax? Because yes, it looks painfully unusable at first and takes a bit of time to get used to. But once you're used to it and have proper tools for dealing with it (rainbow delimiters and paredit in particular) it can feel quite natural, although it's definitely not for everyone.
I'm not gonna try to evangelize it because honestly it's a waste of time to learn Lisp unless you're into the specific niche it's best at, but the syntax does have real benefits.
Anyway, when are you coming around to launch me into the sun? I've got time on Saturday.
bro I've built a compiler in racket and also made my own lisp. it's the sun for you
Your complaint is valid then (even though Racket and home-made Lisps are closer to the bottom of the enjoyability scale in terms of Lisps imo). Still not all that hyped about going to the sun, but sure, I'll willingly submit.
alright bestie, here u go https://cohost.org/wowperfect/post/5616766-why-lisp-sucks u and someone else have motivated me
