I don't have a spare usb stick lying around, but I do have a spare HDD lying around and I flashed it with debian
the computer (lenovo m80q) isn't picking it up in the BIOS though....

I have turned off secureboot, a support article said something about UEFI which I don't know what that means and also don't see an option for it anywhere in the BIOS

is the only way to install linux via a spare USB stick and an HDD doesn't work??? helpppp

AAUAUAUUGGHH I misread arm as I don't know what but I the default image was amd and I thought "oh it couldn't POSSIBLY be that, this computer has an intel chip!" anyway it seems to work nowwwwwww
