So I realize that most of my programming self instruction has been teaching myself to write code, very little has been about learning to understand other people's code. Do you have any resources you recommend for that?

okay so hahah I have the same problemmmmm but I think I have one suggestion which is: try to think about what they're trying to do first, and then backtrack into why what they're doing achieves that goal.

in terms of actual resources I am kinda shit outta luck, I learned to code with codecademy in high school which was a free service when I used it. and then I've seen other people's code mainly through blogposts that I found on Hacker News1 and I would NEVER condone or recommend going on that website. honestly idek where to find blogposts talking about code anymore for myself!!!

  1. aaaa I am a very different person now lol
