we live in a society based fundamentally on the exploitation of one class by another. that means the time and energy spent fucking and cumming is inherently a waste from the perspective of the exploiters. nearly every sexual rule in our society is constructed to funnel the time and energy that we might spend fucking and cumming into something that's more usable, something that can be seized from us.
this indoctrination starts with an experience that i think is as close to universal as any, far more so than freud's oedipal obsession. here's the stage
one day, when you are a kid. you are touching your own body, because it feels good. an adult tells you that you must stop. now, maybe you've been told that your body belongs to you. that if anyone else tries to touch your body, you are allowed to stop them, and to tell an adult, so that your control of, your ownership of, your own body will be protected. so since it's your body, and what you are doing feels nice, you ask "but why?" for asking, you are punished. your adult is ashamed of you, you are embarrassing them, and they punish you. you will never recieve an answer that meshes with what you have been told about your own body, even if your parents were the most progressive parents in the neighborhood and taught you all about consent and all about bodily autonomy. you can't touch yourself unless you make absolutely sure nobody will ever find out.
this sets up a contradiction that will absolutely fuck over your brain for the entire rest of your life - since you can't satisfy this need except in "private" you need to be able to obtain "privacy," a space where you cannot be intruded on. erotic pleasure becomes something you can only ever get in association with PROPERTY that you OWN. from here, everything spirals into a pointless, absurd hell, and the entire time there are nerve endings on your body, on everyone else's body, that none of you can do anything with unless you buy yourself a ticket first.
