some weird furry thing that's trying to make the best of a bad situation, just like anybody

This was one of the earlier rolls of E6 I had ever tried to develop, and one of the ones that taught me how important temperature control during the process is. So unfortunately, it came out looking like shit. The film itself is so dark that it's genuinely pretty hard to see images at all without holding it up directly to the light. Thankfully, I have a scanner that fucking rules, so getting something resembling images off of it wasn't impossible.

Most of the roll is, naturally, trash. But I'm really fond of this one. It was already a pretty gray and cloudy day and we were out exploring Vashon Island. The bad development gives a particularly haunted vibe to this old lighthouse, and I think the image came out way better this way than it would have if I had actually kept my chemicals at the proper temperature. Or maybe this was just me trying to find a way to justify not being too pissed off at myself for ruining this roll. I dunno.
