It took somewhere between 110 and 150 hours, but goddamn did I have a blast -- and I'm glad I managed to get through it without having stuff spoiled for me. For all my misgivings about the Forgotten Realms and the D&D ruleset, I had a great time and the writing and acting was truly top notch. I laughed a lot, and I cried at one of the ending scenes. One of the storylines was a surprisingly touching story about being close to someone living with a likely terminal illness and for all the high fantasy dressing it really felt kind of grounded and personal.
I made a second character that I'm planning to play through the game with differently, and I'm really looking forward to see to what places that story will bring me. Plus, I didn't want to listen to the full OST before finishing the game, but I've been doing that now and some of the music is truly amazing.
