I use GNOME as my Linux desktop environment. I love GNOME, always have. Love at first sight back in 2006. At some point in (I think) 2018, something broke the ability for graphics tablets to send scroll events in GNOME, and it still hasn't been fixed. All I've seen is one dev saying there are technical reasons but "you're probably not interested in those" when someone made an issue on their Gitlab. People have regularly been asking for updates regarding this now and then, and get zero responses.
This might be what finally breaks me and gets me to learn C and GTK just so I can do it myself lmao
