I've still got this idea stuck in my head.
It'd be called "Moose Tactics" and set the player as a commander of one of a few anthropomorphic factions and warring over the remains of a post-apocalyptic Anchorage.
I think the core gimmick would be allowing players to summon troops to specific hero units to cut down on turns wasted carting people from factories to the frontlines.
I think this would also make an interesting risk/reward mechanic. Heros/Summoners on the frontline can summon troops quickly, but if taken out, you're hampered (or completely toasted)
Of course going weird with factions would be a requirement with a name like Moose Tactics. So factions would obviously include:
🦌Moose People 🐺Wolf People 🦦Otters (working as a squad to manipulate weapons) 🧟Ghoul (basically deadites) 👨🌾Human Survivalists 👨✈️Human Military 🧛Draculas probably
If someone could spot me a cool mil for development that would be tight.
