Today I have to engage in the nasty business of completely rebuilding and rewriting the first real level of Soul King and I'm not looking forward to it.
So instead I got up at 730 and wasted an hour and a half drinking coffee and playing Halo Infinite.
So now the time comes to wipe the four dethwall levels and start from scratch 😭
OK, It took me literally all day (from like 9ish till 8pm) but I got the first levels rebuilt. Lots of quirky little tricks and sleight to make sure that players feel like they're looping through a single section a few times while minor things change made it take way longer than standard levels.
BUT it's done and that's what matters. Now I just have to write the dialogue and make sure it's all clean and polished.
