Ok, Chu-chu getting his own invitation is pretty cute.
Keiko getting some unique characterization is interesting, breaking the minion symmetry.
The umbrella scene feels a bit set up, like the Anthy-with-leaf-hair-clip scene.
Is Nanami going to Black Rose herself? She seems more in a position to do it than Keiko is. That'd be an interesting development.
Guess not. This episode feels a little redundant with the Tsuwabuki black rose episode, though.
Oh, but she's targeting Touga, even though he's not the one who slighted her? We still don't really know what the deal is with his condition really.
The shadow play seems to suggest that Nanami's going to get hoist by her own petard.
It does make me wonder if, had Keiko gotten more time, she'd have realized that she should fight Nanami instead of Utena.
It's interesting how Mikage seems to have some real cool powers of information gathering and orchestration, as well as the ability to turn the darkness in anyone's heart into a desire to fight Utena and kill Anthy even when they have no motivation to, and yet none of his duelists actually seem very effective at all. Seems much more to serve an Akio sort of "get Utena to speedrun all the duels" objective than a "actually kill Anthy so my friend can be the Rose Bride" objective.
