What is this game?: An episodic playkit for a magical bed and breakfast and the characters who call it home. Yazeba's is a "legacy" TTRPG that contains dozens of micro-modules, with a setting and premade characters that grow and change as you play more and make them your own.
How's the gameplay?: Each chapter has its own narrative outline and associated mechanics, which might use tokens, cards, or journal prompts. Over time, you'll unlock new rooms, characters, and chapters, making exploring and customizing the book part of play itself.
What's the setting (If any) like?: Yazeba's is set close to our own world, but with magic and monsters just out of sight. No matter the season, it's always September 15th at the bed and breakfast.
What's the tone?: Chapters are tagged as Frantic, Relaxed, Pensive, or Eerie. For the most part the game is something where between "cartoony sitcom" and "uncanny fae realm," but some of the chapters deal with heavier trauma.
Session Length: Each chapter takes 1-2 hours, I imagine you can fit in one or two in a session
Number of Players: Depends on the chapter, some support 1-3 players and some support much larger groups. By default there's no Game Master, only a Concierge, who plays a character like the other players.
Malleability: The book gives tips on making your own chapters and guests, but in my opinion its strength is in the interconnected existing text.

Yazeba's is another game that really sings in an extended campaign. The mechanics are simple, but chapter by chapter it cascades into something truly special.
