fun thought: not all furs beings can use capacitive screens, whether it be because they're covered in fur, or their skin isn't capacitive, or they're not made out of flesh!!! how would a furry engineer handle accessibility in these regards for portable personal devices.... would there be different ecosystems for different cases? would pen input PDAs be popular among certain groups??? what would be some ways to mitigate these things across various conditions like this? just cool things to think about
As a plush toy, Echo has this problem. It uses imagination magic as a workaround, using a toy phone. It runs into a lot of problems of the "no individuated fingers" variety too, with similar solutions.
lucky plushes can get restitched to have that capacitive glove material added to their pawpads.
