Me in twenty years: "Alright everyone, we briefly have internet access. It won't take long for them to find us, so leave it to me."
Stop robot AI apocalypse after:2043-01-01

the best part is how StackOverflow, the one site you could once count on to at least have real answers, has spent the last ten years slowly murdering itself through toxic staff culture, yet only an open revolt by that very staff got them to partially put the brakes on deliberately "AI"-ifying the site themselves.
It's fucking wild how quickly this escalated, and how unusable and unhelpful the internet is now.
FFS I add "reddit" to my How To searches now, because it's somewhat less flooded with generated garbage and often has actual humans talking about solving things.
Same. And reddit is literally being torched by tech bros who want to feed the AI beast with the "data" on their site
