I think for me personally, the biggest things holding back my art are over-ambition, feeling like I'm not allowed to write things, and running into the problem of like. Making weird art is soooo self-indulgent. I want to make this! I want to make the thing, for me! And like... you gotta lean into that. Lean into the joy and it'll show in the work!

Reaching in... what makes you come alive? Gotta surrender to that. How selfish. How needed.

Something I've seen and I'm trying to integrate is the whole "the earth doesn't need more xyz. The earth needs more people who have come alive"

so much stuff going on in my life right now. One of the big ones is trying to find a new place to live and a new job. If we were a bit stronger we might try striking out as a nomad but hhhfhfhf our car is too small to sleep in and we're not experienced enough with being in nature to just start backpacking.
