A friend just kindly informed me that apparently a Shiori nendoroid was just announced, presumably to coincide with Tokimemo's 30th anniversary next year, with preorders opening tomorrow. Normally I'm not one to get worked up about figure and merch announcements, but as someone who had just about given up on getting any decent Shiori figures in this century aside from the very perfect UFO catcher statue she got a few years ago via Bombergirls, I would be lying if I said I'm not itching for that page to open so I can get my order in. They're including backgrounds of the tree and school gate, how could I not pick up what they're putting down?!
Perhaps this means we'll finally get some respectable statues for her and the rest of the cast so we can put those godawful dolls they produced in the 90s to rest at long last. (Look 'em up.) Then I can experience first hand what it's like to throw hundreds of dollars away in merch for this game like it's the height of the boom all over again, it's gonna be great. 😩
