honestly, who hasn't spaced out while using their girlfriend as a chewtoy. happens all the time.
gonna give me a kink here. there's this nice feeling of distance from the flashback, but still that wicked detail in alice, how she's caring for willow but then goes "ghouls are thing" that hints at her experience with them. and the little detail of how senna goes "the human" in a way that technically ascribes her as an object, but moreso is dehumanises senna in her "i'm a monster" ways.

i went back and forth on having Alice say that in that particular way, whether it was maybe too dehumanizing. she's being blunt about it but like, that kinda is the whole point of turning someone into a ghoul, is having a quickly-refilling bloodbag you can order around. That's why they were so careful with Willow! Vampires have some not nice abilities that our girls are repurposing for nice reasons.
I have to say I thought that you would latch on to the vampires are inherently predisposed to eat the people closest to them thing, rather than that Senna thing that i didn't even do on purpose :p Writing is wild sometimes.
