this is some really interesting data. the smackdown numbers look pretty much exactly how i expected, but seeing raw down from october 2022 in total viewers and 18-49 is surprising. although, if you're gonna be up in any category, 18-34 is not a bad one. very much suggests that they are finally bringing in new and younger viewers. curious whether they're here for the long term

these numbers from nxt are stunning to me because that still seems like far and away the worst wrestling show on television. i remember only a two years ago there were a lot of jokes about NXT being a show for retirees because such a small percentage of their viewership fell into the demo, but these massive jumps in the 18-49/18-34 are suggesting otherwise right now. again, what the fuck anybody sees in that show i have no idea, but there are apparently a lot of people seeing it

ngl i'm a bit frustrated that i watched WWE for four years of utter dogshit and then when i finally get back on the wrestling train with AEW it takes them less than two years to get their shit together. i would probably be much less frustrated if AEW wasn't also content to be shitting their pants constantly

i gotta keep up with these articles as they come out each month, this is really cool to have in one place

need to come up with a tag specifically for discussing ratings/other Business aspects of wrestling that i know lots of people don't give a shit about
