i think i'd delete my bluesky account if there weren't a handful of twitter friends that ended up making it their new home. don't have anything particularly strong against bluesky so i'm not feeling any desire to deny myself the joy of seeing what they're up to. but since cohost is suitable for both shitposts and long rambly posts, i see very little value in using bluesky. what would i post there that shouldn't just go here instead?
checked in on it today and fired off some posts with a similar sentiment (for which someone unfollowed me immediately after lol) and checked my follows to discover that like 90% of the people i followed when i made the account have stopped posting there too. like, i'm more active there than they are. which sucks in a way because i'd love to just have another place to catch up with old twitter mutuals, but most of them aren't there anymore or never were to begin with
it kinda feels like bluesky is worthless if you don't already have a group of friends there. but maybe that's just on my inability to figure out how the fuck to find anything. without anything keeping me there it's hard to find the energy to learn how to expand my following outside of people i already know
also one of the first things i saw when i went on there today was people posting screenshots of bad tweets. i'm really glad i don't see that kind of dunking anymore
