- i went into this expecting it to just be background noise but her story about not telling her dad about wrestling only to discover after he passed that he already knew got me tearing up alongside her
- i can't help but hear her line about not knowing there was wrestling other than WWE before moving to america as an admission that getting there is her end goal. which is fine, can't blame anyone for that1, but it tells me i shouldn't get too invested because if she happens to get any momentum she's jumping the moment she can
there's a lot of interesting stuff happening with the AEW women's division which fucking sucks because it's the AEW women's division where they get no good storylines and a single segment/match per show. like, i want to be excited about this, but i know i shouldn't be. i know tony khan doesn't give a shit about women's wrestling and getting excited about it is a recipe for disappointment
